Boom Mat Under Carpet Lite™ (UC Lite™)

Boom Mat’s Under Carpet Lite (UC Lite) adds lightweight thermal insulation and a superior sound absorber for hard to cover areas like door liners, rear decks, headliners and more. This multilayer composite material offers unmatched thermal and acoustic protection in an extremely flexible lightweight material. In controlled tests, it has been proven to insulate up to 85% of unwanted heat. Under Carpet Lite is manufactured with four layers of high tech composite material. Designed to be extremely flexible and easy to install, it has three layers of thermal and acoustic insulating material with a base noise decoupling material. Less heat or cold is transferred throughout the year for improved cabin comfort and the sound deadener prevents the transfer of noise, bothersome rattles and squeaks, for a “like new” driving experience. UC Lite, at only 1/2” thick is so flexible and lightweight it can be installed under carpet, transmission tunnels, under headliners, inner fender wells, rear quarter panels, trunk floors, kick panels, fire walls…most any location vehicle location that could benefit from acoustic and thermal protection. It can also be used with a variety of other Boom Mat damping material for added protection. To install, simple fasten mechanically to the area, or tack in place with Boom Mat’s Hi-Temp Spray-On Adhesive. The Hi-Temp Spray Adhesive spray works equally well on vertical or overhead surfaces. UC Lite is now available in four sizes: 24” X 54” (9 sq. ft.), 48” X 54” (18 sq. ft.), and a BULK 1 linear foot X 54” W and 54” x 72” (27 sq. ft.).
