Summit Motorsports Park and John Force teamed up to create the American Pride diecast car, a 1/24th scale collector grade metal car that replicates John Force's special-edition American Pride Funny Car. Force ran American Pride during Summit Motorsports Park's annual Auto Plus Night Under Fire event Aug. 11, 2012. The Funny Car was retired at the conclusion of that event, never to be driven again.
The American Pride Funny Car features a red, white and blue Americana theme. The motto "Don't Tread on Me" with its serpent symbol is emblazoned on its hood. In addition, the opening words of the United States Constitution, "We the People" appear on the side of this elite car in the historic document's exact style of calligraphy. The back window reads, "One Nation Under God," and the Liberty Bell along with Uncle Sam also appear in vibrant color.
American Pride is the 10th in a series of diecast cars created through a decade-long partnership between John Force and the Bader family. Each diecast in the series was crafted with an original concept that was brought to life by a professional artist.
"Each car is unique and American Pride was designed to honor this country with a strong sense of pride and patriotism," said Bill Bader, Summit Motorsports Park president and CEO. "With only 1,500 pieces produced, this limited-edition diecast car is the ideal gift for collectors, enthusiasts and young race fans."
With less than 1,000 American Pride replicas remaining, collectors can purchase one for $100 while supplies last. It is available through Summit Motorsports Park, which is the only race track that partners with a racing icon such as John Force to create a unique line of limited edition collectible diecast cars celebrating a new theme each year.
