If you're in the general vicinity of Lakeland, Florida (between Orlando and Tampa), this weekend, be sure to drop by the downtown area for the Lake Mirror Classic Auto Festival and Auction.
Although the concours d-elegance event includes all makes and models, the Imperial Mustangs of Polk County host a Mustang "show within the show" at the top of the Lake Mirror promenade, where 50-75 Mustangs and their owners gather.
While you're there, be sure to check out the 100 concours cars around Lake Mirror at the event that has become a miniature version of the Amelia Island Concours.
The Lake Mirror Classic also presents the Lee Iacocca Award, sponsored by National Parts Depot, during the award ceremony at 3:00 on Saturday afternoon. This year, Lee Iacocca's personal assistant, Norm Saken, will be on hand to present the prestigious Iacocca Award.
