Classic Tube has reproduced the dual exhaust floorpan reinforcement plates for ’65-’66 Mustangs.
As part of the GT and 289 High Performance dual exhaust package, the factory installed these plates to support the muffler hangers to prevent floor pan damage.
Classic Tube’s reinforcement plates are exact reproductions of the Ford stampings with the same gauge metal and pre-drilled holes for the hanger stud brackets. Configurations of the right and left plates are identical to OEM, and the ’66 version includes the additional holes provided for seatbelt nutplate access.
