Detroit Speed has entered the vintage Mustang market with a number of ’65-’70 suspension-related performance products, including these Deep Tubs that are designed to accommodate wider tire and wheel packages.
Significantly reducing the number of hours required for a mini-tub, the Deep Tubs are designed for a perfect fit and to retain a stock appearance when using tires as wide as 315mm for the ’65-’68 Mustangs or 335mm for ’69-’70s.
The Mustang Deep Tubs come with a replacement frame rail section and doubler reinforcement plates to accommodate a wider rear tire. Stamped from 18 gauge steel, the Deep Tubs are up to 2 3/4 inches wider than stock.
