Concours Gasket

For concours purists, National Parts Depot now offers the correct-style valve cover gaskets for late ’66-’73 small-block Mustangs.

Because the factory gaskets were on the engine when the valve covers were painted (except 289 Hi-Po), they were usually covered in Ford Corporate Blue overspray, so most owners don’t realize that the original gaskets were cork with a black rubber-like coating. The NPD gaskets are exact reproduction of the originals with the coating.

The lower tab positions are also correct for ’66 and emission-style valve covers.

The gaskets are offered for $18.95 a pair from all NPD locations: Florida, 800/874-7595; Michigan, 800/521-6104; North Carolina, 800/368-6451; California, 800/235-3445. Or you can order from the website at www.nationalpartsdepot.com.
