The big Mustang news at the Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction last weekend revolved around the sale of a barn find '65 GT350 for $350,000.
We talked with the seller, Ed West, who bought the car in 2009. Through friends, he acquired the Shelby from its original owner, who parked the car in 1972 after the engine developed a problem.
The GT350 still has a number of vintage decals on it, including the National Council of Mustang Clubs and Lions Drag Strip.
It was purchased by Beau Boeckman from southern California's Galpin Ford, who plans to add the barn find GT350 to the Galpin museum.
