During the 40th anniversary Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction in Scottsdale, Arizona, last January, a one-of-a-kind 2012 Boss 302 Laguna Seca sold for $450,000 to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Former Boss 302 Trans-Am champion Parnelli Jones was there to provide commentary to urge the bidding.

The unique Laguna Seca was built at the Mustang Auto Alliance International assembly plant in Grabber Blue with black stripes and graphics. All other Laguna Secas, which began production with base Boss 302s in February, will be either black or silver with red stripes and graphics.
