It's always great to attend the Ford Nationals at Carlisle, Pennsylvania, but this year the Carlisle folks added a new twist by incorporating a parade and street party in downtown Carlisle.
Led by a number of Ford executives in Ford cars, mostly Mustang like a new Boss 302 and Shelby GT500, the parade started at the Carlisle Fairgrounds and wound its way to downtown, where participants were treated to live bands and an evening showing of Bullitt.
Downtown Carlisle also offered plenty of restaurants, bars, and antique shops.
