Bolt-in IFS

Jim Meyer Racing Products has created a bolt-in Independent Front Suspension for early Mustangs that improves handling, stopping, and steering over the old steering box, tower suspension, and linkage.

With reprogrammed suspension geometry, reduced anti-dive, and adjustable stance, the new rear-steer A-arm IFS also provides power rack-and-pinion, 11-inch disc brakes, aluminum adjustable coil-over shocks, 1-inch antisway bar, tubular A-arms (not Mustang II), and removable steering arms.

Featuring a tighter-than-stock turning radius, the system does not need tower supports, the rear steering bracket sits above front-sump oil pans, and it clears Patriot headers. Installation can be done at home with hand tools, a drill, and jack stands.
