The latest edition of the Shelby Annual, produced by the Mustang Monthly team at Source Interlink, hits the newsstands next week.
The Shelby Annual is a 154-page publication devoted to Shelby history and today’s Shelby products. Stories range from the return of the Shelby GT350 to an article about the relationship between Carroll Shelby and Edsel Ford, chronicles of the Shelby Cobra, and information about the latest products from Shelby Performance Parts, along with the launch of the company’s new Shelby American Motorsports Speed Shop.
The publication is available for purchase on newsstands; Team Shelby club members also receive it as part of their membership.
Editorial and layout was the responsibility of Donald Farr, editor of Mustang Monthly. He created a “dream team” of journalists who have penned pieces for outlets such as Motor Trend, Hot Rod, Octane, the Robb Report, 5.0, Mustang Monthl,y and Mustang Milestones. Three are also distinguished authors.
“It was an honor working with the team at Shelby American,” stated Farr. “In addition to the historical perspectives, we also covered history being made today with the new Shelby GT350, along with the continuing production of the Shelby GT500 Super Snakes and Cobras.”
The four-color Annual is printed with a heavy stock cover and top quality paper, which makes it a hybrid of a book and a magazine. It is available through stores such as Barnes & Noble, Wal-Mart, and Borders Book Stores.
