Summit Racing now offers late-model Mustang owners a more affordable option for replacing bad or broken rear axles.


Designed to meet or exceed OEM specifications, Summit’s Direct-Fit Axle Shafts are priced at $219.95 per pair, making them more affordable than dealer replacements.

Manufactured from 4140 chrome moly and sold with wheel studs, bearings, and seals, the high-strength shafts are available for Mustang 8.8-inch rear-ends, including ’79-’93 4-lug/28-spline, ’79-’93 4-lug/31-spline, ’79-’93 5-lug/31-spline, ’94-’98 28-spline, ’94-’98 31-spline, ’99-’04 28-spline, and ’99-’04 31-spline.
