Gelsi's Mustang World Is Downsizing

Gelsi's Mustang World needs to downsize, which means they have a wealth of good used classic Mustang parts to sell at recession era prices.

We've been friends with Bob Gelsi for what seems like a lifetime.  Come to think of it, it has been a lifetime.  We met Bobby at the Mustang Club of America Grand National in Atlanta, Georgia in 1984 when he was showing his "Wild Beauty" '64 1/2 Mustang convertible clad in Caspian Blue.  During the 1980s, you could find Bob just about anywhere the MCA was hosting a national show. Bob was influential in the early development of MCA judging rules when we didn't have much to go on in those days.  It was always good to see him.

If you crack open your old and yellowed copies of Mustang Monthly Magazine from the 1980s, you will see Bob Gelsi, who worked with us on project cars and technical articles during the peak of concours restoration craze before anyone ever heard of the word "restomod".  In those days, we called them "modified" Mustangs and never gave it a second thought.  It just goes to show how far the industry has come in 25 years.

Bob Gelsi and his family have struggled in the hard times facing a lot of us.  For the Gelsi family, in particular Bob and Debbie, it has been elderly parents and serious health issues baby boomers are most familiar with.  A lot of us have been faced with raising our kids and taking care of sick parents at the same time.  Like anyone who is caring and responsible, Bob put his family first - which has been his focus for many years.  It became impossible for him to both care for his family and run a business effectively.

Gelsi's Mustang World, located in Vineland, New Jersey outside of Philadelphia, has chosen to downsize and sell off its inventory of classic 1965-73 Mustangs, parts, and accessories.  Gelsi's inventory consists of whole Mustangs as well as parts.  They also have a warehouse full of good Mustang sheet metal, die-cast body parts, interior parts, engines, driveline components, electrical system items, and more.

If you would like to chat with Bob about his extensive inventory of classic Mustangs and parts please call 856/692-3178.
