If you're a Mustang enthusiast who lives in the California Southland, you're probably familiar with Jon Schultz of the Beach Cities Mustang Club. Jon is facing serious health issues at this time and we'd thought you'd like to know.
We'd also like to remind you about Mustangs At The Queen Mary People's Choice Car Show in September.
Jon Schultz, President of the Beach Cities Mustang Club, appeared in Mustang Monthly with his wife, Pam, and their two late-model Mach 1s last year. It goes without saying Jon has been the rocket fuel behind many a successful Mustang event in Southern California. He has kept the passion high around these parts. Likely the most successful has been Mustangs At The Queen Mary, which is held every year in September and draws a huge crowd.

We'd like to take this time to remind you about Mustangs At The Queen Mary scheduled for Sunday, September 19th. For more information go to www.bcmc.net.
We would also like to advise you of Jon's health struggles in recent months. Jon underwent major surgery recently to remove a large life-threatening tumor in his chest associated with the aorta - the large coronary artery. Jon's surgery has been his greatest challenge in a life cruising along at warp speed with his hair on fire. Standard protocol with Jon has always been simple. Don't tell him it cannot be done. He will always find a way to get it done.
Thanks to a talented team of health care professionals, Jon has come through his surgery and appears to be on the mend. Infection and fluid around his heart has made recovery challenging, which has put him back in the hospital. At last word from Pam, he's doing better.
Jon, Pam, and son JT need your positive thoughts and prayers at this time.
Jon - feel better. We need you.
And - NO - you can't be on our magazine cover!
