Were You At Bellevue?

It has been years since we've been to the Northwest Mustang Round Up & All Ford Picnic.  The 2010 MCA Grand National and 30th Mustang Round-Up was well worth the wait.

If ever there has been a full spectrum Mustang event in the American West, it has long been the Mustangs Northwest Round Up in Seattle, Washington at the suburban Bellevue Community College.  By "full spectrum", we mean something for everyone.  Open track.  Pony Trails.  Concours judged car show.  And a huge People's Choice car show to wrap up the event on Sunday.  This year was a fitting celebration of 30 years doing what it does best, Mustangs Northwest's 30th shot at a great American institution thousands look forward to every year.

Although those around Seattle know the Round Up well, it remains a best kept secret across the country - something you might want to put on your show agenda for 2011 because it gets bigger and bigger every year.  And, you just cannot beat that scenic suburban Seattle venue where there's so much to see and do in one of the most striking vacation spots in the country.  We tip our hats to Mustangs Northwest for their hospitality and showing us a wonderful time.  With luck and good fortune, we hope to be back next year.

Round-Up isn't just about classic Mustangs, but all things Mustangs across nearly a half-century of production by Ford Motor Company.  Shelby American was there as was Ford Motor Company.  What's more, this year's Round-Up witnessed some of the most exciting Mustangs we've ever seen - low-mileage unrestoreds, best-of-the-best concours trailered and driven, and striking restomods with a big twist of imagination.  It wasn't just about a lawn chair and cooler, but honing your driving skills and learning how to read a road map.  Again, something cool for everyone.

Look for MCA Grand National/30th Round-Up coverage in your Mustang Monthly Magazine shortly.
