Project Reclaim From Mustangs Plus Is Back!

Project Reclaim by Mustangs Plus and The Restomod Shop has been plagued by delays.  However, Reclaim is coming back strong in Mustang Monthly Magazine.

You know what they say about long term car projects.  They don't always go to plan because you don't always know what's next.  Project Reclaim, a '65 Mustang fastback project launched by Mustangs Plus and The Restomod Shop a couple of years ago, got off to a great start.  The bad news is, a rough economy has caused its share of setbacks rooted mostly in delayed shipments of parts and a backlog of business at The Restomod Shop.  As a result, Mustang Monthly installments have been scattered at best, leaving our readers wondering what ever happened to Project Reclaim.

A couple of weeks ago, The Restomod Shop installed Reclaim's 331ci Stealth V-8 built by MCE Engines in Los Angeles along with a Tremec T-56 six-speed provided by Ford Racing Performance Parts.  Also installed was a groovy serpentine front dress by Vintage Air.  JBA shorty headers from Pertronix round out the striking MCE Engines package.  We also wrapped up our Classic Auto Air system install along with a cool custom gray headliner from TMI Products.  Look for these updates shortly in your Mustang Monthly Magazine.

Mustangs Plus hopes to have Project Reclaim completed by fall and on the road for California winter fun.  Expect to see more of Reclaim in the months ahead.
