Were You There For This Photo Shoot?

Were you at the September 1986 Mustang Monthly photo shoot at the Gerald R. Ford Museum in Grand Rapids, Michigan in September of 1986?

We've been sifting through our archives in search of deep memories from Mustang Monthly's past.  In September of 1986 during a trip to Detroit, we took a drive out to West Michigan with Jim Gillespie (now retired from Ford) and Don DeAngelo (lost track of him) to meet with the West Michigan Mustang Club for a photo shoot right in the heart of cereal country.  Names present for that photo shoot have escaped us in the 24 years that have passed, but we remember having a terrific time with these people.

We'd like to hear from those who were present for that photo shoot in Grand Rapids and would like to know what you folks have been up to since.  Plus, we'd like to know that happened to the cars that were present.

One name remains in our memory from that West Michigan visit - Bill White - who owned the Highland Green '68 1/2 Cobra Jet fastback.  As we understand it, Bill passed on some time ago.  However, we've never forgotten his wonderful hospitality.  He showed us a nice time we've never forgotten.

If you were there, we'd like to hear from you at Jim.Smart@sorc.com.
