Mustang restoration has come a long way over the three decades since Mustang Monthly editors published the first How to Restore Your Mustang book, and that’s reflected in Frank Bohanan’s new How to Restore Your Mustang book from SA Design.

A hands-on guide for restoring ’65-’73 Mustangs, the book shows actual procedures for restoring the major component groups – chassis/suspension, brakes, steering, body, interior, and engine/driveline. It touches on all the relevant challenges, expenses, drawbacks, and benefits so the owner/restorer can decide to do the work themselves or have it professionally done.

Bohanan reveals the latest techniques and restoration products, and provides the considerations for using replacement parts versus original components.

Priced at $29.95 either from book stores or directly from the publisher, the 192-page book features color photography to accompany the how-to instruction. To purchase or for more information, contact: SA Design, 800/551-4754. Or visit the website at www.cartechbooks.com.
