When the Petersen Automotive Museum honored Lee Iacocca and Robert E. Petersen in 2004 on the Mustang's 40th Anniversary, quite a few Los Angeles locals were invited, including our own Arnold Marks of Mustangs Etc. in Van Nuys. Arnold knows how to work any situation, especially where there are bright lights and cameras. When he was a young stud in the dreamy world of Hollywood, he used to don a tux and worm his way into those big Hollywood gala get togethers, posing as an actor and walking in like he owned the place. His approach to those tinseltown bashes never failed. He always managed to rub elbows with people of the silver screen and even got to know some of them.
Arnold was true to mark at the Petersen/Iacocca bash. We paused to shoot a photo of Mustang historian Bob Fria (left) and Lee Iacocca (right) chatting with each other when Arnold walked right into the picture and smiled.
You're all heart, Arnold. =)
