Mustang salvage yards are slowly disappearing, but reader Bill Hamilton stumbled across a good one while visiting Arkansas.

"During a recent trip to see my new granddaughter, my son took me for a ride in the country to show me a place with a bunch of old Mustangs," Bill told us in an e-mail. "Matthews Mustang in Rose Bud, Arkansas, has vintage Mustangs lined up year-by-year and the owner keeps the grass cut around them for easy access."

Bill says the owner is trying to get out of the business so inventory is down quite a bit. "I didn’t check VINs and that sort of thing as most were 'regular' cars and looked to be well picked over but you never know what treasures lie in these undiscovered classics."
