The automotive aftermarket is flush with terrific aluminum radiators for all Mustang generations because those old original two-row core factory radiators just won't cut it in hot summertime temperatures. Scott Drake recently introduced a line of affordable perfect fit aluminum radiators for classic Mustangs that fit well and look good. We're going to be running one of Drake's new radiators in the months ahead. We just took delivery of a new world-class reproduction aluminum radiator from Redline Cooling for classic Mustangs. The Redline radiator's top tank is virtually identical to original equipment (1967-70 24-inch). You could paint it satin black and detection would be challenging. It's that good. Smaller radiators more common to 1965-70 Mustang without air conditioning are not stock in appearance, but great looking products you'd be proud to install in any restomod. When we ordered our Redline radiator from Craig Parsons - he photographed its creation from raw parts to finished product, including the Spal 11-inch electric fans. In the raw, the quality is obvious. Then, Craig sweats it all together. When we installed our new Redline radiator in a '68 Mustang with 390, it was a perfect fit with one exception - clearing the Sanden air conditioning compressor vee-belt. Craig Parsons tells us his Redline radiators are engineered primarily around stock engines and systems, which clear nicely. When you have an aftermarket front accessory dress or something unique, you may have to make modifications to achieve perfect fit. Our particular Redline radiator has the Spal 11-inch twin electric fan package, which tends to get in the way of the air conditioning drive belt. This problem may easily be avoided with the 12-inch Spal low-profile fan package according to Craig. Craig is a terrific person to do business with and is very professional in his execution. When you order a Redline cooling radiator and Spal fans, you're getting a terrific product that will fit and perform nicely for many years.
