TMI has just released a collection of center consoles designed specifically for ’65 through ’73 Mustangs.
The new center pieces are a fashionable and extremely convenient addition to any Mustang interior. You can dress it up or blend the console into the interior by choosing from a wide selection of TMI’s stock-style materials and colors or exclusive custom fabrics and tones.
Quick and simple to install using “hook and loop” straps, the TMI consoles fit over the transmission tunnel or OEM factory consoles. A hidden hinge supports the cushioned flip-up lid, which provides access to a useful storage compartment, coin holder, and lid-mounted map pocket. Each TMI console features a pair of deep cup holders and a “secret” compartment built into the bottom of the storage area.
TMI offers several versions for direct fitment to vehicles with and without factory consoles. Regardless of application, there are two styles, including the standard console in solid or two-tone and a Deluxe model with a chrome accent strip, which is a perfect match for cars with chrome door panel trim. If your Mustang doubles as a show-and-go ride that needs to retain the stock appearance, you can easily remove the console for display purposes.
