We're getting ready to redo a 1965-68 Mustang bench seat and turn corners we've never turned before - putting our buns where they've never been before. Now this is a great idea! What about your great ideas?
In the months ahead, we're going to show you how to reupholster a 1965-68 Mustang bench seat. It's not like we've never done that before, but it has been a long time. This time, we're going to incorporate new seat buns into our bench seat restoration, which has never been done before because no one makes them for this application. We will do this by taking conventional Mustang bucket seat buns and modifying them to work with a bench seat.
That said, we'd like to hear your great ideas. What have you tried at home in your shop or garage that has worked quite well in your restoration/rebuilding efforts? It's only any good if you spread the wealth and share the idea with others. Put your hands around a good digital camera and show us your terrific home restoration shop ideas. Then, please email them to us at Jim.Smart@sorc.com or thesmart67@msn.com. Please put "Home Grown Ideas" in the subject box.
