G.T. 302 Predator Mustangs

Anyone out there have a 1980s G.T. 302 Predator Mustang or know anything about them?

Long ago in a land far away, a man by the name of Tom Soloman tried to recapture the magic of the 1960s with a special edition Mustang in the 1980s known as the Predator G.T. 302. He built them from 1983-86. It was Soloman's involvement with classic Shelbys that inspired the idea.

He showed this idea to Ford, which apparently liked the idea but never took it up. He wanted to call the Predator "Cobra" and Ford would not allow that.

What these cars have on their side is extreme rarity. So few were built.

16. I have been trying to track down a 84 GT302R that was white with blue stripes I tried to buy when I was in high school. I even saved all the info from the data plates. I ended up with a 84 GT350 a year later.

I still have a friend in Florida that owns an 85 but he has customized the exterior and the hood is missing.

What is the web site for the registry? I can not find it searching online.

17. I was trying to find the photos of the 84 Predator but can not find them. I had forgot they are on page 6 of my very first website CHEEZY but cool cars. http://lahanes.tripod.com/page6.html

The front spoiler is what I have not seen in other Predators. Photo was taken in 1988.

The bumper sticker says I love cats Dead ones. He had just replaced the front airdam from hitting a cat and I belive it was like $600 painted.

This car was located in Norton Kansas

18. I know someone who has a white with blue lettering 84 Predator, but he lives in Liberty Mo. Could be the same car. I don't think he has owned it long.

19. I am the proud owner of a 1984 Predator Cobra. I also have a 1969 Mach 1 ( Factory small Block 351W), 1984 GT350 5.0 carburated, GT350 2.3 Turbo, 1984 SVO(Parts car), 1985 SVO and a 1996 GT4.6.

22. I AM THE SECOND OWNER OF 1984 PREDATOR GT 302 CONVERTIBLE #122 82,000 ORIGINAL MILES ORIGINAL PAINT MODIFIED ENGINE NO RUST PURCHASED IN DALLAS TEXAS IN 1993 BOUGHT BACK TO CANADA IN 2007 NEVER USED IN THE WINTER.I AM NOT SURE WHAT IS IS WORTH FOR INSURANCE COVERAGE????
