Anyone out there have a 1980s G.T. 302 Predator Mustang or know anything about them?

Long ago in a land far away, a man by the name of Tom Soloman tried to recapture the magic of the 1960s with a special edition Mustang in the 1980s known as the Predator G.T. 302.  He built them from 1983-86.  It was Soloman's involvement with classic Shelbys that inspired the idea.

He showed this idea to Ford, which apparently liked the idea but never took it up.  He wanted to call the Predator "Cobra" and Ford would not allow that. 

What these cars have on their side is extreme rarity.  So few were built.

1. I own and have restored several Predator G.T.350 and G.T.302 mustangs.
I also run the registry and have factory photos, specs, sales adds and other info, given to me by Mr. Solomon of Solomon America.

4. I've got a 1984 Predator GT-302. It's close to what a Shelby would have been like if Ford had built one in 1984! The thing about these cars is that very few people have heard of them. Mainly because there were only around 300 built between 1983 thru 1986! Would love to see an article. For info. or pictures of my car contact me at hbporter@accessatc.net.

7. i bought an 1984 predetor cobra#136 from a car collector it was an a sad shap.
today it is a show car,302 with 650 holley,5speed,4.10 rear gear,4pts rollcage,sunroof,original wheels,and the best part is the color of that car.

10. I just located a predator last year after a 10year search for them. I was lucky enough to meet Mr. Hayward many years ago. I was working at a mustang performance shop but had never heard of the Predators. Once I heard about them Ihad to get one. It took me 10 years to finally get one. It was all worth it. I would love to see the carsget some of the recognition they are so much in need of. Any true lover of the mustang would love to know about these rare gems in the mustang world. 12. I have a 1984 Predator GT 302 Cobra, all original except the carb. The Holly was a problem ever since it was new. The color is red, lovers on back window, roll bar, original wheels and paint. Still have the original flag on the hood. Have always liked the car and enjoy seeing other Mustangs.

I am a proud owner of a 1985 cobra predator GT 302 the color is white with blue stripe package has rollbar,and gt 302 badging its all original I would like to see a great article on these type of rare cars in this magazine article by the way my car is the 131stbuild# live on cobra predator!!!!!!

14. Are you aware that Solomon America made one SVO Predator , one Capri Predator and Modified one car for a 429cj!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There were some rare colors also, like Dark Green, Brown, Tan, and Yellow, to name few.

15. I have #125 1984 Predator GT. It is silver with black hood and red interior. It has very low mileage and has been sitting quietly for ten years. It is for sale at this time. I am not sure what it is worth, but it is very nice condition except for some of the paint on the hood and a little clear coat on the trunk lid.
