Several Ford Racing supercharger setups can be fitted to S197 Mustangs. Highlighted here are two systems for ’05-’09 GTs and one for the ’07-’09 GT500.

For three-valve GT models, there are two setups rated to produce 400 and 500 horsepower. The 400hp version used a 2.3-liter twin-screw supercharger with about 5 psi. of boost and a proprietary Ford Racing calibration that works with both automatic and manual transmissions. For 500 horsepower from a 4.6-liter three-valve GT, a smaller pulley for 11 psi. of boost is added along with an air-to-liquid intercooler system that’s only for manual-transmission-equipped cars.

For GT500s, an Eaton Twin Vortices Series (TVS) 2.3-liter blower with four-lobe 160-degree-twist rotors can be fitted for 605 horsepower. A cold-air system and Ford Racing calibration are also included and a warranty is available when the setup is installed at a Ford dealer and a Ford Racing performance crank damper is also installed.
