The Mustang Club of America has released the event schedule for the Mustang 45th Anniversary Celebration at Barber Motorsports Park on April 16-19.
The show officially opens on Thursday, April 16. Open-track participants can arrive for tech inspection at 6:00 AM, while registered participants can enter the facility at 8:00 AM. Here are some other important scheduled activities:
Thursday: Evening Cruise to Homewood: Line up at 6:00 PM on the main entrance to Barber Motorsports Park. Street Party in downtown Homewood (suburb of Birmingham) from 7:00 to 11:00 PM.
Friday: Opening Ceremony at noon. Location to be announced later.
Saturday: Miller Cup Series Mustang Ford Challenge; qualifying at 10:30 AM, race at 1:30 PM. Evening with Ford banquet at the Birmingham Marriott starts at 7:00 PM. Ticket required.
Sunday: Morning photo opportunity on track starts at 8:00; sign up at the MCA tent. Participants awards presentation at 8:00 AM; Judged ceremony at noon in Observation Room in control tower. Vintage Mustang exhibition race at noon; Miller Cup race at 1:300 PM. Show closes at 5:00 PM.
