Loaded with all sorts of racing equipment, the car has seen its share of open-track action, but it's still in excellent condtion. For a quick look-see, Brian borrowed the wheels and tires off his '03 Cobra (that will be featured in our December 2008 issue) to see what they'd look like on the R.
They are Ford Racing FR500 wheels with an Anthracite finish and measure 18x9 inches front and 18x10 in the rear. They’re wrapped with Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 tires--265/35ZR18s in front and 295/35ZR18s in the rear. Though the plan is to still run the stock R wheels and keep the FR500 wheels on the '03, these still look good on the R to be sure.
