Power steering pumps often quit working in vintage Mustangs and replacement becomes necessary.

Keep an eye on Mustangmonthly.com for a web-exclusive story that will soon appear about how to replace a pump. The car is a ’65 coupe and the new pump we installed is the one shown here supplied by CQ Auto Parts in Chatsworth, California. Tony and Dolly at CQ supplied the freshly rebuilt pump for this upcoming how-to and they are located at 21116 Devonshire St., Chatsworth, CA 91311. The store can be reached at 818/341-3121, is open seven days a week and also has a complete automotive machine shop on site.
