These features include lightweight forged side relief forgings, high quality wrist pins, precision CNC machined ring grooves and high performance piston rings. Every SRP and JE piston is designed and manufactured in the USA. The new piston designs were created using 3D computer modeling and tested for strength using Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and several revisions were made to optimize strength and weight before manufacturing began.
