Several buyers of the ’07 Roush Stage 3 BlackJack Mustang have sued Ford and Roush Performance complaining that the limited-edition Mustang was not as limited as promised.

News agency Reuters reports that the class action lawsuit was filed on behalf of a New York man and other buyers, who claimed they paid a premium price of $59,000 for the BlackJack based on advertised claims that only 100 would be built. The lawsuit accuses Ford and Roush of building at least 100 more in 2008.

Drew Conner of Bardonia, NY, and other buyers are seeking a jury trial and over $12 million in damages.

Representatives of Ford were not immediately available for comment.
