Steeda is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a new Q650R model, a race car that combines Steeda’s proven power with its exclusive Adaptive Performance Calibration and world-class underpinnings.
"The Steeda Q650R takes the DNA of Steeda’s Q-Series Mustangs and our history of technology accomplishments and racing knowledge into what is the ultimate performance Mustang," says Steeda Autosports President Dario Orlando. "This car is an appropriate tribute to our Anniversary Celebration this year and a hint at what’s to come in the future."
Built by Steeda’s Skunk Works Team, the Q650R will serve as a rolling test bed for continuing refinement and development of Steeda’s performance parts and accessories.
Under the hood, the 4.6L engine is equipped with the Steeda/Whipple supercharger for 650 horsepower, with tuning by Adaptive Performance Calibration that always optimizes power output. On the outside, the Q650R is fitted with Steeda’s aerodynamic Race Wing that stands at a full-race height to get into the airstream for significant down-force. Under the car is an adjustable coil-over suspension system, Watt’s linkage, D-Spec shocks, and the entire catalog of Steeda suspension parts with some extra experimental suspension enhancements as well.
