Spent a day last week commencing restoration on a 68 fastback.

The very first thing done was to remove the bumpers. From there, we're jumping in the deep end to do a full restoration on a 68 GT fastback. With all exterior trim removed, we'll move on to drivetrain and interior removal with the current goal to disassemble the car down to a roller in preparation for its stay at a body shop.

It's going to be a big job, but the car is worth the effort since it's an Acapulco Blue GT with a J-code four-barrel 302, factory A/C, AM/FM sterero and a factory tach gauge cluster--a few of the car's options that are on the unusual side. Keep a look out here for more updates as we progress.
