Spectators and participants at last weekend’s Kohler International Challenge at Wisconsin’s Road America got a special sneak peek at the eagerly anticipated 2010 Mustang.
It was an unusual debut, as the car was fitted with full camouflage to disguise the 2010 Mustang’s fresh styling, which is said to more closely resemble the ’69 Mustang. The new car makes its official debut next fall, although we’re expecting an early introduction to coincide with the Mustang’s 45th anniversary in April.
The 2010 Mustang served as the pace car for the historic vintage car field throughout the weekend. Saturday was Ford Mustang Day, with every Mustang and its occupants admitted free to the event.
Sanctioned by the SVRA, the Kohler International Challenge is the largest vintage racing weekend in the U.S. This year’s event was sponsored by Ford.
