The Mustang Club of America is making big plans for a huge cruise during the Mustang's 45th Anniversary show next April.
If you attended the MCA's 30th Anniversary Celebration at Barber Motorsports Park near Birmingham in 2006, you'll be familiar with the cruise for the 45th. Starting from Barber, the cruise will start at 6:00 PM and wind through the Birmingham area to downtown Homewood, where the cars will be parked on the street for evening festivities.
Pre-registration is required for the cruise, and the earlier the better because downtown parking will be limited to 500 cars. The MCA is expecting up to 1,000 Mustangs for the cruise. Parking will be available in other areas of Homewood for cars over the 500 limit.
The Mustang 45th Anniversary show, presented by the MCA and sponsored by Ford, is scheduled for April 16-19, 2009, at Barber Motorsports Park, located in Leeds, Alabama, just outside Birmingham.
