Shelby at LAX

In his latest print, automotive artist David Snyder pays a visit to Shelby American at the Los Angeles airport (LAX) in March 1966 as two Ford GT40s are being loaded for the trip to Sebring.

In the background, you can see ‘66 GT350s awaiting shipment to Ford dealers and GT-350Hs on the way to Hertz. New 427 SCs are under final preparation inside the hangar along with other 289 and 427 Cobras.

Measuring 15 x 35 x 36 inches on high-quality stock and authorized by Carroll Shelby Licensing, only 950 prints are available for $100, all signed and numbered by the artist. Ninety-five artist proofs are also available, signed by both the artist and Carroll Shelby, for $350.
