Fatman Fabricators has introduced a Strut Suspension Kit for ’71-’73 Mustangs.

Based on parts from the ‘94-‘04 Mustang, the McPherson-style strut suspension eliminates factory bumpsteer while gaining an adjustable ride with either coilovers or Air Ride, along with 5-lug disc brakes (15-inch or larger wheels required). The original steering column can be used to complete the job.

The rack-and-pinion and stainless steel lower control arms attach to a new crossmember plate, which bolts in and reinforces the body. Since the strut suspension eliminates the upper control arms, fender wells can be trimmed for clearance if desired.

For more info, contact: Fatman’s, 8621-C Fairview Rd, Hwy 218, Charlotte, NC 28227-7619; 704/545-0369.
