The Mid-America Ford and Team Shelby Nationals headed to Hallet Motor Racing Circuit on Friday for its third day of open track.
Off and on rain dampened the track but not the enthusiasm as a record number of cars took to the hilly 1.8-mile course. Reporedly, it was the largest event event held at Hallett in terms of cars and participants.
On Friday night, Carroll Shelby signed autographs, along with former team driver Tom Yeager and artist (and Shelby personal friend) Bill Neale. Following the Shelby autograph session, Shelby Automobiles hosted a reception, with the bar tab picked up by SA president Amy Boylin.
Today, we're off to Tulsa Raceway Park for a day of drag racing. Tomorrow, it's the car show at the host Marriott Southern Hills hotel.
