In Search of Mustangs

In Search of Mustangs is the first all-encompassing registry and census of its kind dedicated to 1965-73 Mustangs, founded in 1979. Original purpose was to document Mustang production from all three assembly plants in Dearborn, Michigan; San Jose, California; and Metuchen (Edison), New Jersey.

In the early 1990s, Jim Haskell and I published a two-volume book series known as the Mustang Production Guide — with Volume 1 for 1965-66 and Volume 2 for 1967-73.

It has been a long time since the Mustang Production Guide was published. We would like to know if there’s any interest out there in a revised printing of these books as one book covering 1965-73 Mustang production with current information based on what we have learned since the last printing.

All who are interested are encouraged to email Jim Smart at mailto:thesmart67@msn.com
